Ram Tharshi Celebrated a close friend’s birthday at Virundhu, and what an unforgettable evening it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely exceptional. The team went above and beyond to make our private dining experience seamless and special. A particular mention has to go to one incredibly helpful staff member who was so accommodating with all the surprise arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble — he even jumped in to help us blow up balloons for the decorations! That level of care and genuine enthusiasm truly set the tone for the night. The private dining space itself was stunning. The ambient lighting created such a warm and elegant atmosphere, and having full use of the screen, sound system, and comfortable booth seating made the celebration feel both intimate and lively at the same time. It was the perfect setting for a birthday surprise. Now, the food — simply beautiful. Every dish was full of flavour and presented with such care. You could really taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. A lovely touch was the children’s meals being served on traditional banana leaves — it looked so vibrant and visually appealing, and it added to the whole cultural experience. A heartfelt thank you to Sam, the hardworking chef behind the scenes, and the entire team at Virundhu for making the evening so memorable. Your dedication, warmth, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It was truly a fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to return!

John Gower Just went there in person to get lunch. Steak and Onion Pie, Prawn salad grainy bap, crisps and a KitKat. The Pie was warmed just right, pastry nice and fluffy. The Bap was delicious, salad was fresh and crispy and there was a generous filling of Prawns. Not going to review Crisps or KitKat, but the price for a small business was very good! The staff where very friendly, and asked about me and was happy to chat and take time to talk. Why go to any of the "brands" food chains where the food it just cloned and churned out when you can get everything made fresh! I highly recommend you pop in, and support a brilliant LOCAL business!

Kai gloystein One of the best pizzas in London! As Germans, we were absolutely impressed by the quality. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff was so cool that they even let us play our own music. Also, a big plus for the beer – it tastes very similar to a proper German Pilsner. We had a great time and will definitely be back!"

Martin Bird This has to be the best meal experience we have ever had! Spencer Metzger and his team on the day created Exquisite food. Fabulously friendly, funny and attentive service throughout. Great ambiance and music. We will definitely return. An absolute treat to have experienced it.

Poppy Cunningham The most deserved 5 stars I have given in a while. Delicious, just like the food we had in Vietnam. Bahn xeo was 10/10 crispy and the beef in betel leaves were maybe even better than some of the ones we had in Vietnam. Yum!! Not the cheapest but I dont think it should be.

Natalie Ng Good local restaurant, will be visiting regularly. Portions might look small but we were full walking out the restaurant. The cheeks were the tastiest part of the meal, calamari is good and the patatas bravas spicy tomato sauce was great.
