1 /5 Adam Camm: I’ve been a loyal customer for a few years now. The food is excellent, however my experience tonight warrants a one star review and I will never order from them again. I ordered my food via their app at 17.38. Two hours later I had still not received my food. The gentleman on the phone (presumably the manager) said that the driver had delivered it which was obviously not the case. The driver then came on the phone also claiming to have delivered it. I said he didn’t and that I have a long order history with the restaurant. The manager apologised profusely and sent out another order. Phoning to confirm it was sent and asking to be called when it was delivered. All fine, mistakes happen. Then the driver arrived at the door without the food, before I could say anything he accused me of lying, saying he had delivered before whilst his phone was on speaker. This is all on video as we have a camera thankfully. To come to my home and essentially accuse me of fraud is beyond the pale. Following an argument he returned with the food and handed it to my partner, saying to her that he had already delivered here. Again, a lie. Interestingly, we had a number of additional items added to our order by way of an apology so the manager obviously knew an error had occurred. However the attitude of the driver means that I will never order again. Shame because the food is good, but I will never accept that behaviour.
