Autumn Y Youre directed to a check in area upon arrival where you can drop off your stuff in a locker (free). Youll need to hand in your ID at that time to get a visitors pass. Following that, you make your way into the prison. Youll have to remove jackets/jewelry/extras, go through a metal detector, and get a pat down. Youre then led into the restaurant. Youll be sat, given time to look over the menu, and ask questions if needed. The environment itself looks like one of a regular restaurant, with the exception of plastic cutlery. The staff were partly in training when I was there, so they were decently chatty and eager to help with anything. They did try to upsell a decent amount, but that is probably in part to the training bit, in terms of learning how to work that in more flawlessly. Ordered a pork chop that came with soba noodles and a smashed cucumber salad. The food tasted good overall. They have their regular desserts as well as ones that are made by the inmates there (separate menu for these). So ask to see what those are to support them if youd like. When leaving, you will need to be escorted, so just be sure to ask for your host before you head out.

Kim Luy A delicious experience that was incredible value for money! We tried this place without having much expectation and it was incredible. We left the ordering up to the staff who recommended a combo of beef, lamb and veg all on one big injera. We shared it as a group of four, eating with our hands and which always makes food taste 100% better! Gluten and dairy free for dietary requirements. Thoroughly recommend if you want a different food experience in the heart of Clapham.

Leroy Lowe Flavorful authentic Bajan cuisine with mannerly staff and colorful vibes . My mum and I have been wanted to visit Flava Pepper for a longtime and dispite the showers this Saturday nothing was going to curb the cravings we built up . I had curry goat with rice and peas with a side of plantain and coleslaw and mum had cou cou with steamed fish and gravy . Taste 10 , Presentation 10 , Service 10 , Atmosphere 10 , Potions 10 , Chef Jason and his team are definitely on to something special. Dispite being happy with our meal while enjoying 1 or 5 banks beer we then ordered a potion of fishcakes and wings . No disrespect to grandma but this were some of the best fishcakes better than Legendary Fishcakes in Barbados . We recommend Flava Pepper to anyone who needs to be reminded of the land of sea sand and sun Oh yea the pudding and souse which we had to go this was amazing . D B Loved this place. Loved the food, the staff and the service. Super friendly and most importantly HIGH QUALITY JERK. Homemade hot sauce, meat was so tender and flavourful.
