1 /5 Ranjodh Singh RSK: I visited Cinnamon Bazaar a few days ago with around 15 work colleagues, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
Both the service and food quality were below expectations. The restaurant only serves halal meat, which limits options for some communities such as Sikhs and Jewish guests, leaving vegetarian choices as the only option for them.
I ordered a vegetarian meal and was served what was described as Indian curry with okra instead of curry pakora. The dish felt poorly prepared, the rice was low quality, and the rotis were undercooked almost like raw dough.
When we raised the issue, the manager initially said we would be charged extra for replacement rotis. After further discussion, she agreed to swap them at the same price, but this should not have required negotiation in the first place. There was no apology for poor service.
Considering we were a large group spending a significant amount, the overall price felt unreasonable for the quality of food and service we received.
Unfortunately, this was not the experience we expected. Picture of raw dough are attached.
