Donald The ambience is an unassuming cafe but don’t be fooled, the food is wonderful and the service (Bianca) is welcoming and friendly with a subtle twinkling eye humour that Europeans will recognise and feel at home. We had the chicken and mixed grill skewers. The meat was very high quality, perfectly cooked, moist and delicious. It was served with a very good mixed salad, chips and rice which turned out to be a great flavour combo. We ordered a jug of the house red which was Portuguese and very good. We prefer Portuguese wines so no surprise. Bianca thought we’d like romantic English language music but we asked her to restore the Portuguese music which created the perfect atmosphere for us to enjoy the wonderful food. We finished with pastel de nata custard tarts as dessert which were even better than we’d had in Portugal. Needless to say, we highly recommend this restaurant and as we stay in the area regularly, we are coming back soon.

Meg Byrne The managers at the restaurant and cafe are amazing, and Rose in the cafe is very detail oriented, quick to get to customer needs. The food is great quality and well presented. During my stay at the hotel (Ember Locke) attached to EVE, the F&B staff seemed overwhelmed, long weight times for food and a number of staff not very proactive for a restaurant atmosphere (standing around until manager directs them what to do). John was fantastic and really handled the low staffing issues with a smile and proactive communication so guests understood why service was taking so long. If you are in a rush, this is not your place, but if you are up for a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere with great music then you will enjoy the space.

Chris Zimmerman Have used Zanz Cafe on a regular basis for a number of years, for breakfast and lunch, taken the kids there when they were younger. Never had a bad experience or meal.

Ally Munro I went to juicesmith last Saturday where I encountered possibly one of the most welcoming and kind waiter, I believe his name was Ben. He was soo down to earth and friendly. Im really normally quite a shy person when I go out by myself but myself and Ben clicked instantly. The food was decent too
