1 /5 Peter Polgari: Edit
The fact is that I was charged ÂŁ2.20 for a hot cup of milk (your employee said "its like a babyccino"), and it took around ten minutes not to receive it....
During that time, only two other people were waiting in front of me, and you served a total of three coffees with 4 employees.
That’s hardly a peak period — I’d understand a delay if there were twenty people in the queue, but not for two flat whites and one latte ahead of me.
Waiting that long under such circumstances isn’t reasonable, and £2.20 for a cup of milk is, frankly, ridiculous. Please don’t deny what happened and you charged me multiple times over £2 for a cup of milk with chocolate on top (aka babyccino, feel free to call it what you want).
Regarding the 180 Fahrenheit, your employee needed a definition of what could be considered warm so I said "around that". I would never want anything exactly 186 Fahrenheit...
Your arrogant reply that is not aware of your own pricing is something that I should have expected....
Original review
Service was never their strong point, but now they’re charging £2.20 for a babyccino and nearly £10 for a toastie.
They often miss part of the order or hand it over in takeaway cups even after you’ve said you’re staying in. The staff are slow, not particularly efficient, and certainly not polite (I’m not your “mate”, and never have been).
Today I waited ten minutes for a simple warm cup of oat milk, with the only update being a repeated “it’s coming” — which made me wonder if they were still out back milking the oats.
If you’re going to charge premium prices, at least offer a premium service.
Unless you enjoy performance art in the form of delayed beverages, best to avoid.
