2 /5 Paul Cooper: The welcome to the hotel was great and the room was decorated really nice, warm room and bathroom is so nice, Good pub attached we didnt eat at the restaurant, Thats the good bits, Unfortunately there are some bad bits, we were put in room 25, and the people above us seemed like they were walking a marathon, most the night and from 4.00am in the morning all we could hear is floor boards moving across the whole room, then we had a toilet waste in the corner of the room which you could hear every flush like it was in your room. Not the best mattress i woke up with a bad back, I went to reception at 20.00 and no one was there, if there was any lines of communication to follow i missed it, Very disappointing visit.

Initially, I was hesitant to book, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my visit. While the exterior may not stand out, the interior truly exceeded my expectations. The rooms were lovely, clean, and modern, providing a comfortable atmosphere. Additionally, I enjoyed the food at the pub, which offered great value for money. 5 /5 Mark L: Really great find at affordable prices. Staff and service at the Conningbrook was great. We stayed in a room for one night and ate in the bar. The room was very clean and nicely decorated which you could tell had been recently done. Food in the bar was really nice, it was busy so would recommend booking a table on busier nights. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay and eat again.

5 /5 Lauren Lake: I recently stayed here for 3 nights with my partner after travelling from Yorkshire. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely male who explained the hotel had recently undergone a renovation. The room we had was lovely. Bed was very comfortable and extra pillows were available if needed. Room had everything we needed such as an iron & ironing board & hot drinks such as tea, coffee & hot chocolate sachets were provided. We dined in the pub and the food was absolutely amazing! I especially enjoyed the mexican bowl! Great portions and good value for money. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly, polite & very helpful. We will definitely stay here again.!
