Jonathan Eshel Took the kids here after school. They shared the kids box and I had a stone-baked pizza. Pizza was proper tasty, thin crust just how I like it. Kids enjoyed their box too and lovely outdoor seating.

Jose Gomez A lovely local café with the best coffee in the area and fantastic pastries. The chocolate chip banana bread is a personal favourite. This morning they’d just sold out, but the barista went out of her way to check if there was any left in the back — such a small gesture, but it really made my day. Highly recommend.

Mark Askew Went here previously and had a very enjoyable experience with quality food and excellent service. So with it being the end of the year and my friend and my last breakfast get togther of the year, we chose Chinchins again as it was the best breakfast we had in 2025. And again superb food, service and ambience. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The menu is precise and not overwhelming like some places. We look forward to coming back really soon. Highly recommended.

Chantel Alexander Oh my god! My only regret I didn’t buy 3 extra burgers for my self!! It is absolutely delicious! Not just your average burger! I will definitely be back and be buying double the order. And the fries !! I don’t know what they season it with but it is gorgeous. Very nice friendly service! And the chilli sauce ! THE CHILLI SAUCE!! IS OUT THE WORD !! I’m so glad we have this new spot on the block! So worth it.

Miles Wheeler Simply the best restaurant in London, I love this place - it’s my go to for birthdays or people visiting. Such a wonderful, relaxed place to go with exceptional food and amazing wine. In the summer it’s great to sit outside on a warm evening and in the winter it’s a great retreat inside. The produce they use is obviously really high quality they work with the best suppliers and it shows. There’s always something meat based, seafood based and vegetarian. Sundays they normally do a dish to share too and the Herne Hill market is on which makes for the ideal Sunday afternoon. I’ve brought vegan friends too and it’s worth just letting them know in advance and I’d suggest booking too. It’s a testament to the place that the manager has been there for 8+ years and I still know the chefs years on too, the team are great, always so welcoming and calm. For me this is the ideal neighbourhood restaurant and I visit whenever I can. 10s across the board for Llewelyns!
