3 /5 Stephen Harness: Two stars at best for our first and last visit. The two savoury crepes were undercooked (the sweet one was better). Despite being freshly cooked, they arrived lukewarm, but looked the part. Then we found some very anaemic tomatoes inside the margarita crepe. But I left with a feeling of regret at eating much of mine as the batter wasn’t fully cooked, so that left me with an upset stomach. They use sweet crepe mixture for all, unless you pay more for buckwheat.
The greeting was poor. The staff/owner seemed distracted, although standing in front of you doing nothing at the counter to order, we had to attract his attention. Plus, he then made a sarcastic comment at my child. The younger staff seemed better. I made a mistake of not checking the bill to realise later that not saying the child’s menu meant we’d been charged full prices, even though the order was the same.
In this colder weather don’t sit near the front door as they leave it propped open and the draught makes it cold.
