Bradley Richardson UNDOUBTEDLY THE BEST BURGER!✨ Customer service was perfect, food was perfect, conversation was perfect! I couldn’t fault this place if I tried! John created an atmosphere like no other- helped us choose from the menu, creating a meal for our liking. Not only did he make sure we felt like the only people that mattered for our time at the restaurant. But he made us laugh and smile! Joined in with some of our conversations and excelled in customer enjoyment Don’t knock it till you try it! By far the BEST burger and experience of my life to date! PS; the hot sauce blew my socks off! And I only had a taste..!!!

The Butchers Block Pub - Kent

Rating: 4.6 /5
Allison Eason We visited as a family of four, for the first time and had a lovely experience. We received a very warm welcome, not just from the staff but from the local customers, who clearly frequent the pub often and are very passionate about the village and their local pub. It was such a pleasure to share their stories. The food we had was fantastic! The scotch egg starter was a delight, as were the scallops. Our steaks were beautifully cooked and the sauces we added were lovely. We also had the carrot cake cheesecake and the chocolate tart for dessert, both were excellent. The cheesecake is not as you would expect it to be. It is deconstructed and a softer texture than you would usually have but my husband said it tasted lovely and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was great throughout. We visited on a Saturday and hadn’t booked but ate late afternoon and so we were able to get a table for food but if going at busy times you have to book in advance as it is very popular. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning in the future.

Keith Poulton Great to see this little Restaurant open again. The food was so tasty, with reasonable sized portions (you dont want huge plates of tapas do you?). We Will Be Back

Vicci Skinner We had breakfast here and the food was very tasty. We had a mixture of traditional breakfast foods and pancakes. The portion sizes were generous and the prices are good value for money. The scrambled eggs on toast is huge! The eggs were lovely and fluffy. The staff were talkative, individually complemented the children and were very friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Elaine Forster Set in the lovely town of West Malling close to the M20 so very easy to get to. This restaurant was a delightful find. The food is delicious and well priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and will definitely return. The manager Kate gives a warm welcome to customers and ensures, through her passion, that her young team are attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere evident. The chefs produce superb, tasty dishes that are well presented. Sunday lunch was delicious. The beef tender and generous in portion size. Roast potatoes, crispy and hot. Gravy that was replenished to accommodate those who like a lot. Lovely Yorkshire pudding. A real treat and relaxed meal enjoyed.
