1 /5 Raidel Chao-Batlle: Patience is a virtue and it was tested last Sunday 26 May 2024 at Crowborough Spice. I booked for a family dinner at 6:30pm and we got there on time. And we left at 9:10pm because of long delays. we were not alone as other people dining experienced the same long delays. From having our stater to our main course we waited 2 hours and 27 minutes. No apologies from the staff were given. I am all for supporting local businesses but not when service and food are pretty bad. I did have years ago a very bad experience where I had food poisoning from Crowborough Spice. I never went back until last Sunday as I wanted to give them another try since they have been advertising on their refurbishment and new deals. But apart of the long wait their food was skimpy with lots of sauce and veg and just 5 tiny pieces of meat on each dish. All creamy dishes were extremely sweet and tasted the same. I am pretty sure many of you love Crowborough Spice but I am not one of them. Also be aware that papadums are not part of their £14.95 deal of eat anything from the menu. We were never told that. Nevertheless, it was our last visit and we won’t be going back.

5 /5 Leon Davies: Wow. From incredible food to incredible service crowborough spice is by far the most superior Indian cuisine the area has to offer. Every dish is made with care and bursting with flavour. I have also been to one of their notorious music nights and it didnt disappoint. If your looking for the perfect night and food crowborough spice should be your first choice.

5 /5 Chloe Hutley: Ordered recently and by far the best Indian in the area. The food was delivered quick and was very hot. There is lots to choose from and all the dishes are so tatsy. Highly recommend!

1 /5 Callum Kenney: Unfortunately not a fantastic review for Crowborough Spice. Ordered a takeaway for delivery at 18:55pm, and it didn’t arrive until around 8:35pm. The issue was, when we called the restaurant after an hour, they lied and said they had just sent the food. 20 minutes later we called back and they confirmed the food was still in the kitchen. Food was mildly warm despite the restaurant saying it was freshly cooked and not sat there. I would’ve had more respect to them had they not of lied about the status of the delivery, and they didn’t offer anything to make the situation right. Paying full price for a mildly warm curry that took an hour and 30 minutes to delivery is not acceptable.
