4 /5 Saad Achwa: I recently visited Diba Persian Restaurant in Wimbledon with a group of four, and overall it was a very good experience. The Jojeh Kebab was tasty and the Kobideh was excellent—probably the highlight of the meal. The service was also nice, attentive, and welcoming specially one lady who attended us always with a smile.
The naan was fresh and delicious, but I was a bit disappointed with the okra with lamb dish (I forgot the exact name) as it didn’t quite meet expectations compared to similar dishes I’ve had at other Persian restaurants. Another point worth mentioning is that tea wasn’t served to us. I understand this might be part of their table turnover strategy, but it would be better if the menu clearly stated when tea isn’t available, since enjoying tea after a Persian meal is something I always look forward to—and my whole group felt the same.
Despite these small issues, Diba is still a solid choice among nearby restaurants, and I’d recommend it for its kebabs, service, and atmosphere.
