5 /5 tina hh: What can I say but WOW, WOW, WOW. This is definitely the best fine dining restaurant in Brighton. It’s only small, perhaps 20 covers and each one is lovingly made.
We both had the 10 tasting menu. Everything was delicious and some things were mind blowing. I am pescatarian so the meat dishes were swapped for their vegetarian menu. Usually I feel a bit peeved at this, as they tend not to be as as tasty as the meat one but in this case they were better. The beetroot with walnut sauce OM life was the best veggie food ive ever eaten …. well until the next course, the pumpkin blew my mind. To get that much flavour and texture in to veg is astonishing, next time I may have the full 10 veggie tasting menu. The bread was also totally wonderful. I really appreciate how the butter was changed on that and dashi on the scollop.
The truffle custard was delicious & I’ve never had anything like it before.
It doesn’t have to be a special occasion to come here, they also have a smaller tasting menu and an incredibly priced £40 set menu that I will definitely trying in the future.
The staff were very lovely and efficient, it’s a really welcoming space with a lovely atmosphere, we will be back.
