4 /5 Rashid O: I’d been aware of this cosy restaurant since it reopened under new management last year, but as a very fussy foodie, I kept putting off my first visit. I finally tried it yesterday evening, and I’m so glad I did.
I ordered amala with ẹfọ ẹgusi and a selection of meats (minus beef), and I was genuinely blown away. The amala was light and fluffy, and the stew was rich, flavourful, and tasted wonderfully home‑made.
Despite the owner/chef working alone, the service was prompt, warm, and attentive.
I truly hope she’s able to maintain these high standards and build a thriving business that lasts. This is a gem worth supporting.
