5 /5 Ibrahim Miah: Genuinely the best restaurant I have ever been to hands down. The food is on another level to the point I went to turkey twice just to experience what authentic Turkish food was like if Turkish food in London was this good, unfortunately both trips left me dissatisfied and this restaurant is right at the top. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and very helpful, any request they try to accommodate and do so with absolute professionalism. The decor is modern and very aestheticy so for those that like to upload on their social media this would be a good spot to go to for pictures as well as its outstanding food. I have been coming here since 2018 and I have never left with an empty stomach and smile on face. Every time it’s like the first time the flavours are on another level, that can’t be compared to any other restaurant and cuisine. This is in its own league. Whenever I have been I go in a group so with at least 4 people, all 3 platters are more than enough for 4 people with food to go home. Platter 3 is arguably enough for 6-8 people. When you order the platter you are presented with some starters but the one that is the one you could probably fill up on and argue it was a great meal is their bread. It tastes fresh and they season it very well, add the hummus or hummus with meat it’s sensational. Now the platter. Although it may be a bit costly, as previously mentioned I’ve been here so many times I’m on a first name basis with the waiters, chefs and as soon as they see myself or my family members. Within the platter 1 and 2 you are presented with rice, bulgur, lamb cubes, chicken cubes, wings, ribs and a kofte, the platter 3 also includes 2 koftes and lamb chops and more of the previously mentioned. Anything and everything you eat makes you feel like that scene from ratatouille. It’s an explosion of flavours that you savour and enjoy. The meats are cooked to perfection. Not too chewy/overcooked and vice versa. The chops and ribs are so packed with flavours you can easily spend time suckling on the bone because of how much is stuck. The wings are decent, cooked perfectly but they’re not on par with the rest. The lamb cubes, ribs chops and Adana kofte are definitely the highlights of this meal. The rice, bulgur, chicken cubes and wings are very good but lacking in the flavour department. I also tend to get a strawberry mojito which for me is needed with the amount of food I’m consuming and it’s arguably one of the best mojitos I’ve had, not completely packed with ice and drowned in syrup but a perfect blend of everything. However it is very pricey at £10. The desert is another talking point, they have a selection of deserts ranging from a slew of cakes, fresh kunefe and rice pudding. Their Oreo cake is amazing, very soft not too rich just the perfect blend of soft and sweet where it isn’t sickening. Their rice pudding is also the best rice pudding I’ve ever had, the consistency, texture and level of sweet is spot on. You are also presented with Turkish tea at the end, that is complimentary I believe depending on the platter that was bought, that just compliments the entire meal. They need to open a branch in south west London. All in all 11/10 nothing comes close to this at all.
