1 /5 Brooklea Francis: Service - Terrible, disorganised, staff all doing their own thing, unnecessary long queues for food/drinks & even paying (lady kept disappearing from the till). Then over charged me for 3 breakfast (should have checked)
Server for breakfast - Due to my mothers disability, she ordered her breakfast first but due to long queues, I was essentially told off saying its been waiting for 30mins, which is a lie (more like 10/15mins). As a carer, I dont expect to visit here on a pleasure trip out with my mother to be spoken to like this!
Told I cant have an egg as a substitute for bacon because its not meat! Its all protein.
Food - after all the waiting food quality is disappointing, sausage didnt look cooked, asked to cook poached eggs for longer (still v.runny). Mothers egg very dry, could only eat one.
This could be a fantastic cafe/restaurant but needs the right people in management to run it right properly (effectively & efficiently). Shame, nice garden centre otherwise.
