5 /5 Samantha Adams: We enjoyed a very nice meal whilst we were visiting the vocal area for a couple of nights. We were greeted with a very warm welcome explained the menus and deals that were on offer. Food and drinks were a good high-quality and absolutely delicious i’m glad we’re not local because I don’t think I’d ever cook myself a meal again If this place was on my doorstep.

5 /5 Sally Morris: Travelled down from Gloucestershire for the wknd and found this place just a mile from where we stayed. We didnt book but received a very warm welcome on arrival. I have to say the service was excellent and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend dining here as it was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful meal. 10/10

5 /5 Jo Lane: Elvis night at the Eastern Promise this eve 28/09/2025. Set menu - very good value for money: well cooked, nicely spiced, each course delivered in a timely fashion, hot and ready to eat. Elvis sang for a couple of hours and mingled in with the customers. All the hits catered for; well sung and great atmosphere. Such a good night out - i hope this is the first of many. Everyone (staff and customers) looked like they enjoyed it!! We have had several takeaways from here recently and I have to say they have been really good - delicious food, well cooked, and a good price.

4 /5 Edwards3Carrots: We ordered a takeaway. The food was nice. We ordered three different curries. Chicken tikka masala, a lamb Korai and a chicken tikka dansak. (With pilau rice and peshwari naan). Some of the tubs of Currys didnt come completely full which was a bit of a shame but they tasted nice. The lamb came in very small cubes as well rather than being nice big pieces. Everything was boiling hot and fresh. This wont be my new regular Indian though.

5 /5 Rahul Hayder: Came here a few weeks ago for an NHS work do. I have been here in the past and have to say the service is on another level now. The manager Shan has done a wonderful job. He is very welcoming and spends time talking to all the customers. The food was excellent. Came in good time. Everyone finished their dishes. I had a Lamb Takba based on a recommendation and I loved it. My wife had a Chicken Kurchan and really enjoyed it. Spent a good few hours here which accounts for a pleasant atmosphere. I look forward to coming back here.
