5 /5 Earnest Hutchings: Review: Visiting The Ferry Boat Inn, Tottenham I recently stopped by The Ferry Boat Inn in Tottenham, and it turned out to be one of those classic London pub experiences that blends history with a relaxed, modern vibe. Atmosphere: The pub sits right by the River Lea, which gives it a slightly rustic, riverside charm. Inside, it’s spacious and welcoming, with a mix of traditional wooden décor and casual seating. It felt lively but not overwhelming — perfect for a relaxed evening. Food & Drinks: I ordered a pint from their rotating cask ales, which was fresh and well‑kept. The menu is very much pub comfort food: fish & chips, burgers, pies, and sharing platters. My fish & chips were crisp, golden, and satisfying, while friends enjoyed hearty burgers. Prices were reasonable for London, making it good value. Service: Staff were friendly and attentive, even though the pub was busy. Drinks arrived quickly, and food didn’t take long either.

2 /5 Chris Rennison: Lovely location, but unfortunately the Sunday roast was very disappointing. I had the pork roast which the menu says comes with crispy crackling but the amount of cracking was tiny (pictured). The rest of the food tasted like it had been reheated.

5 /5 Agnieszka Kwasnik: Great pub with a really welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious, with generous portions and great flavours. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A lovely place to relax, eat well, and enjoy a proper pub experience. We’ll definitely be back.

3 /5 Andreea: For drinks only - it s ok! but the food was disappointing. We had the Sunday Roast, which tasted bland and seemed reheated several times — I couldn’t finish it. Cleaning standards could also be improved. On the positive side, the outdoor space is really nice, and both the service and atmosphere was nice.

5 /5 I Nwachuku: Lovely family atmosphere for our family Christmas dinner. Food was excellent and staff were very friendly and efficient. Parking refunds were all paid promptly without fuss. Well done
