Forest Tavern - (Near Greenwich, london)

5 /5 ALJS: Quaint cosy pub set in the heart of Newham. After being a resident for over 30 years decided to venture in and no regrets and will spend more time here soon. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food presentations was good and seating area suited all different needs. Only comment is the lighting in the female washroom needs to be brighter as quite dark and dim in the cubicles. Otherwise now my go to pub.

5 /5 Georgia Rannard: FOREST TAVERN While visiting London for ABBA me and my family came across Forest tavern Not far from where we were staying I had discovered online and drawn in by the character and menu as I’m vegan so offered options for me and my family It was a weird day food wise and how to structure as we needed to fit in a meal before the show Thankfully they had room , lovely service and friendly staff who weee attentive and helpful The food is home cooked great quality and lovely hotspot as seems popular I got the House salad, quinoa, avocado, roasted squash,radish, shaved courgette, mix leaves Just what I was craving and hit the spot Followed by the plant based Brownie and ice cream , fudge cake fix and fuel to dance the night away Great lil place to meet up , have a drink and eat

Having been born and raised in Forest Gate, but moving away 10 years ago to live abroad....my first visit back after years this weekend gone... highlight of the the trip was cold beers and delicious food in the lovely garden, with great service and positive vibe! Prices are great, team is super welcoming, keep up the great work guys and see you in November when we travel again for a weekend. First stop after airport will be here!
