5 /5 David Conway: My girlfriend in California wanted to try the finest English breakfast so they kindly wrapped up food for the flight from London to California! It stayed fresh and delicious for 20+ hours of travel.
1 /5 Tawhid Ahmed: Paid £12 for a halal breakfast. Before it was £10 and they used to fill it up to the top, but now they hardly fill it up. Got no bread on the side. Here’s my food. Would not recommend going here
3 /5 Iain Laird: £4.50 for a bacon roll seems steep to me, but maybe its London prices. Got to say it was lovely but the tables could do with a clean. Would go again which tells you everything you need to know.
3 /5 أبو نائلة - Abu Naailah: Quite little café and the food portion sizes are decent too. Young gentleman who takes the orders, I found him to be a bit cheeky and tad bit cocky. You dont joke with a customer whom youve never met before. Being polite and courteous goes a long way to forming an impression on your customers. I visited them twice (few days apart) just to make sure the gentleman wasnt having an off-day. Unfortunately on the second day he was still quite sarcastic and that came across as quite rude. Based on that experience I shant be visiting again. Food wasnt all that good tasting and along with the young mans service , giving Free Mansons Cafe 3 stars is quite generous. Please note you have to spend a minimum £5 to pay by bank card (when their card machine works)
5 /5 ken Flemwell: Called with only 35mins before closing. This was not a problem and cooked me an excellent omelette, portions were generous and nicely presented. Staff nice and friendly.
Giles Moorhouse Or Old Faithful as I call it. Been frequenting this place for literally years as its the only true greasy spoon between Colliers Wood and Wimbledon.
Great portion sizes, good value and theres a secret garden so you can dine al fresco should the weather permit.
In an area full of pretentious eateries touting smashed avocado on sourdough bread, check out Cafe SW19 for a much needed dose of breakfast how it used to be.
Peter Schneiter Delicious home cooked Plant based (mostly)/ Vegan delights,
Really lovely tasting & great portions.
Crepe 2 Tea do a tasty menu, a lovely find in the centre of Croydon
Simon Burchell Great food and lodgings. Bathroom was a bit poky, but at least it was en suite. Most staff were friendly and efficient. Very quiet in the room.
I would say not great for anyone with mobility issues... many flights of steps to get to the rooms.
Mohima Ahmed Beautiful atmosphere, lovely food, the roast dinner was amazing . We also were craving something spicy and we also ordered the Pataka King Prawn, absolutely bang on! and oh yes the deserts! 5*!
