Vilma Lindvall Absolutely incredible food. Mesi is a star! The food is sooo good, but if you like food with truly powerful flavour and proper oomph - I reckon the trick is to tell her you want the "real spicy" when you order as it is rather adjusted for the whiter palate. The restaurants interior is homey and cosy, albeit outdated but none of it matters once you get that food in front of you!

Angie Oakwood Couldn’t have asked for a friendlier welcome at this pub. Went with a few friends after a long walk it was it was perfect. Really nice atmosphere, great service and brilliant Sunday roast. And all on a day when they were short staffed. Will definitely return next time I’m in Lewes.

Maggie Really fresh crisp vegetables in vegetarian options with delicious crunchy onions on top. Top quality.

Izzet Kevir The chicken gyros was good and the meat was tender. Bread was fresh and nicely baked on the stove.

Chavdar Katmarov Extremly good and delicious lamb with a wide variety of spices. I dont personally like lamb, but after my visit, I dream of it. Top spot !
