5 /5 David Jordan: Visited this lunchtime and had a brilliant meal! Ranch steak was so good and tender. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful in recommending food and Harriet was very attentive. Thanks for a lovely lunch.

5 /5 Tina Barnett: Our favourite restaurant never lets us down! The food was perfect, never have to wait long for it either. There is always a pleasant atmosphere in Georges. Even though it was busy and the staff were rushed off their feet they had everything in hand and even stopped briefly for a chat. Didnt intend on drinking but Harriets woo woo cocktails are just too good! Will be back very soon. Well done Georges 10 out of 10 again. Tina & Toni Date of visit: 31st January 2026

5 /5 Sarv: I had been planning to visit this restaurant for a long time, and I finally got the chance. It’s a charming, old-fashioned spot, and we were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady. We ordered both starters and main courses. The Greek salad was fresh, though the feta cheese was served in very small pieces. The main course portions were generous and flavorful. The spaghetti Bolognese was delicious, and the chicken with mushroom sauce was excellent with crunchy chips. The lady serving us was friendly and kind. The only downside was the noticeable smell of dampness.

5 /5 Louis Knight: George’s Restaurant is my favourite restaurant and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always great and really adds to the experience. The staff were friendly, especially Harriet who was lovely, and the food was delicious with very generous portions. Excellent value for money and a true Southampton classic. Highly recommend!
