Ahmed Deedat Came to green street for shopping today Sunday afternoon. Came to the food court and found this nice restaurant. The staff were very attentive and nice, they were knowledgeable about the menu. I bought the £6.50 Doner box + fries and it was honestly very overwhelming the portion size for the price. The Doner meat was perfect, was cut fresh and cooked fresh. There was a great amount of chips too. Having 1 of these fills you up to the max.

Khalid Malik Great food, great prices and great portions. Ive been going here on and off. I wanted to see if their greatness was consistent or a one off. After my 3rd visit in a space of 3 months i have to say they deserve a smashing 5 stars like the smash burgers that they do They do chinese too from the same kitchen. Ive tried the following items: - Oh my cod - fish burger - Double and single smash burgers - Cheese burgers - Chick flick - Spicy Chicken - No beef ting (Falafel burger) - Chicken Bites - Chicken Chowmein (Yes they do that too!) - Chips All their burgers are 10 out of 10. From the most priciest to the cheapest cheese burger, its on point. Do you know how to tell if an establishment really cares about their food and their customers? You determine this by their chips. Their chips will give you an indication of how lazy they are. Wether they change their oil frequently or not. Here at Hungry Cow Forest Gate, they appear to change their oil frequently. This is what keeps their chips tasting great, not stale nor soggy. The texture and the crispyness of their chips is one of the best in East London. Its because of their chips customers keep coming back. Like myself, i like a good portion of chips to accompany my burger. Also theyre not stingy, you get a very good portion of chips. I want to make a special mention of their Falafel burger the No beef ting on their menu. Ive been having too much meat lately and i needed to detox, have something different. I honestly thought this could not be a decent burger with cheese. I was wrong. This Falafel burger was amazing! It was nice and soft. In fact it was very smooth, it just melted in my mouth. Ufff This burger is the underdog. Try the Falafel burger if you can. I will upload a few photos collated over the past few months including their menu from inside their shop. Theyre also open till 4 am whilst everybody else is still sleeping! 5/5

Imran ahmed Best restaurant ever. One of my cousin was asking if I know any restaurant so he can arrange his son first birthday for 12th Jan 2026. Straightaway it came up on my mind that Ayan’s restaurant would be the great option. And Alhamdulillah it was the best party. We had 50 people’s gathering and with waiter service not buffet. Food was absolutely fabulous. Normally it’s our nature when you recommend someone and if the food isn’t good, everyone starts back chatting and keep saying this person recommended but Ayan’s restaurant didn’t let me down. Thank you for food and great service. We will definitely come back again. ❤️

Sam I had gone to the Himalaya restaurant in Green Street after a very long time, so I did a double take when I saw it had been refurbished. In fact, I thought it was a completely different restaurant at first glance. It was cosy inside and the decor was aesthetically pleasing. Service wise, it was the same as how its always been- you select the food you want at the counter, pay for it, and then sit down at your table and wait for the food to arrive. My friend and I had between us, a chicken biryani, grilled chicken tikka and a chicken seekh kebab, there was a small salad and yogurt raita and chilli sauce on the side. Overall the food was flavoursome and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The experience was relaxing and enjoyable and I would recommend the restaurant.

mehat Choudhury The jerk chicken with rice and peas was absolutely delightful. The chicken was incredibly tender, infused with a rich, spicy jerk seasoning that had just the right balance of heat and sweetness. The accompanying rice and peas were cooked to perfection, with a subtle coconut flavour that complemented the dish beautifully. A thoroughly enjoyable meal that would certainly warrant a repeat purchase. 10/10
