3 /5 Lorenzo Bruno: We have seen this place change and evolve over the past couple of years. This latest iteration seems to have found a nice spot, since its always full, to the point that booking is required.
The space, even if small and with low sealings, is well decorated and overall its a nice an homie experience to eat here.
The service is also really good, friendly and attentive.
The dishes we got arrived well presented HOWEVER they failed to deliver to their key quality: taste.
The flavours were underwhelming. For the waffle breakfast in particular, the waffle was soft and soggy, the fried chicken was flavourless with soggy breading here too.
Overall the high expectations from the crowd, and the nice presentation, were not met when it comes to quality of the dish and enjoyment in eating it.
I personally prefer a less fancy environment but I cant compromise on food quality and taste (and Ealing has many options that meet that requirement).
Unfortunately I dont think I will be coming back any time soon, if not perhaps to try the coffee.
