5 /5 Susana Lampert: Absolutely love this place. Ive had dinner there with my sister, a solo lunch and takeaway. The pho bo is unreal and my go to. The broth is the cleanest, deepest, silky smooth, soul warming thing ever. Took care of my cold in an instant. You can have well done, raw or mixed beef. I know that the vegetarian (I think its also vegan) pho option is just as incredible as my sister had this and fell in love. We also had the veggie spring rolls and they were fantastic. I think its the taro that adds an extra something. I dont know. I couldnt get enough of them... The special bahn mi is just delicious too. Lots of crunchy pickles and a proper helping of meats. The summer rolls are honestly the best Ive ever had. The classic is pork and prawn. Stuffed to the gills. Pork and prawn in ever single bite, not like some places with a measly prawn and the majority empty. The accompanying peanut dip is crazy good too. I think its a little spicy? It makes you want to just shove the whole roll in your face. So, so moreish. The beef in beatle leaves are great. They dont just fall apart but keep their form and just sort of jump with the tangy dip that they come with. My partner and I will be sharing the chicken combo tonight so will update on that later, but judging by everything else, we wont be disappointed, Im sure.
I would note that this really is a small place so wouldnt recommend being more than 4 people (which is nicer for other guests too in my antisocial opinion). The menu is small too, which guarantees consistent quality. Sometimes they dont have things which is only a shame if youre greedy, like me, and want to eat it all! Again though, this is something that just highlights what a real, little, quality place this is. Everything fresh and if the ingredients arent there, then they dont put out the dish. This is the perfect place for a solo lunch or dinner for 2 and its BYOB.
