H L-J Ive been eating at Afghan Flavours, Reading for circa 18 months now. I was introduced by my sisters friend and have kept coming back on my own, with a my sister or in small groups. Its very reliable, tasty, fresh and hot food. Family friendly. Very reasonably priced for the quality and freshness. You can see the kitchen from the counter too. Other reviews mentioning service speed need to show some patience. Freshly cooked and prepared food takes time and this is an increasingly popular establishment. I would describe as cafe style eating. Whether its the Channa Daal, Houmous, halloumi, chicken byriani, Qabuli chicken/lamb, chicken/lamb charsi karahi, Afghan style red kidney beans, Chaplin kebab paties, chicken or lamb or mixed tikka or lamb kofta - I recommend all. For drinks would recommend mint or green tea (loose tea) or mango lassi (glass or jug) or a fresh juice. I prefer to eat in, but take away is also available. A friendly and hardworking team. Abdulla Elsharkawy First time trying this restaurant and I will definitely be back. The food and service were fantastic. I ordered the chicken souvlaki meridia after asking for a recommendation. The portion size was great for the price and the flavor was amazing. The chicken paired perfectly with the warm pita, and together with the special sauce, it brought everything together really well. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend.

Maggie Morgan Went for lunch on 19th December at 12.30. Even though I dont celebrate Christmas the happy atmosphere was a bonus. Roast meats always good but there was even more choice of veg including a sliced parsnip in a sauce which was delicious but the roast parsnips were there too. No room for pud Im afraid. Too full from a great value and excellent dinner. I call it dinner but it was lunchtime!!

Bhargavi Reddy Today we went Anjappar chettinad Restaurant... We did order around 12 types of recipes... each and every recipe tast is amazing... good quality & quantity ...I recommend highly this restaurant.

ilana Member of staff was great. Cleanliness was not an issue. ONTO THE FOOD: Food was all hot and fresh. The twisted burger was great if you want fried chicken but love the signature peri peri sauce from chicken shops (they also do twisted wings). The regular wings were good, not fatty, not greasy nor the type of wings with a disgusting amount of chicken skin. Although I wish they had a bit more of a kick (but I understand they have to cater to everyone). Thanks very much

Olivia Ong Taste authentic of Vietnamese style. 1. The coconut milk iced coffee is flavorful with well balanced of coffee and the milk. (£5) 2. Crispy Roasted pork rice is good. The pork is tender and juicy . (£13.95) 3. Pho mixed is delicious with good stock. (£15.95) 4. Dry noodle grilled pork. The grilled pork is well marinated and delicious. Love the pickled carrots and raddish in the salad (£13.50)
