1 /5 Naz: Very disappointing, chips were cold and tasted like they were fried in old oil. Sausage was just about edible. These guys need to improve big time!

5 /5 Mussab Tariq: Finally, a place on London Road where you can enjoy traditional fish and chips, and all other Desi food specially naan bread with full peace of mind. Alhamdulillah, everything is Halal and the quality is top-notch. It’s rare to find such honest, low prices these days. JazakAllah Khair to the owners for providing a Halal option that doesn’t break the bank. We will be regular customers!

5 /5 Errol: Best fish and chips in town so far. Freshness and the service is absolute top notch! Highly recommend you to meet the brothers both great guys always very attentive and very friendly. Portions are great for the price. Enjoy your fish and chips!

1 /5 Anisa Akhtar: I visited King Fryer Chip Shop today and was shocked at the state of the place. The shop looked dirty and unkempt, which was already a red flag. But what truly disgusted me was when our food arrived — it had visible mould on it. When we raised our concern, the staff member tried to claim it was “just food colouring,” which was clearly not true. This kind of excuse is unacceptable, especially when it comes to something as serious as food safety. We left immediately and will definitely not be returning. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place until it takes hygiene and customer safety seriously.

1 /5 Lauren: Took an hour to deliver over cooked rubbery chicken, undercooked chips and some watery chili sauce. The supposed chicken kebab arrived plain with no salad. Just pieces of chicken on a pitta. You must request salad on notes apparently if you want this. Complained through shop who offered only replacement food which I didn’t want to accept. Told to complain through just eat which are just a shambles too and have been unable to get any money or credit back as they are uncontactable. Chucked £25:00 of food to the birds as it was all inedible.
