Everything — from the service, food, and atmosphere to the organization and flow of the day — was absolutely faultless. A huge and heartfelt thank you to Freya, who oversaw the entire day with such professionalism and care. She was there from start to finish, quietly making sure everything ran smoothly — a true credit to the venue and an absolute star. The whole day felt like a well-oiled machine, allowing us to relax completely and simply enjoy every moment. The team at The Grantley Arms went above and beyond to make our day special, and we honestly can’t thank them enough. Every guest commented on how wonderful the food and service were, and we couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our wedding. Thank you so much to Freya and the entire team — you made our day truly unforgettable.

Bríg x My friend and I meet up regularly for a late lunch and Cocktails so we have been to quite a few places. The Kara, with its £15.95 set menu and a Cocktail bar for laters enticed us, and in all honesty it exceeded our expectations. From the moment of our arrival and throughout, the service from all was very professional, attentive, and friendly. We were even asked if we were happy with the table they had selected for us, which is a first for me. A big shout out to Ozzy who looked after us during the meal, very helpful and with a good sense of humour. The food was delicious and plenty, wine and Cocktails a reasonable price. I was very impressed when we were asked if we would like to take time to digest our starter before the main. They will even supply you with a food bag to take home, if you can’t manage it all. The decor is modern, buzzy and fun, with a crazy lighting and mirrored area to allow for taking photos on the way to the toilets. It was like being in a London restaurant, but without paying a fortune. We had allowed time for a couple of cocktails in the Cocktail bar area, and they were excellent, made to a high standard with attention to detail. As it was a Friday we enjoyed a little of the live singing by a lovely lady (believe it was Nikita KC) who interacted with us as she sang, and even said goodbye when we left. We will definitely be back.

Sarah White We booked last minute for my son’s birthday. They had a big table in when we arrived and advised some dishes would take a little longer because of this and gave us complimentary edamame. Everything actually came out in good time. The food was so fresh and great sized portions. Great value for money as well. The staff were so attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning! Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had!! Would love to try the ramen and noodles next time too. Thank you for making it such a special evening for his birthday!

Gary Skeggs We went to Miller and Carter for our wedding anniversary meal. It was a great experience with wonderful food. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were very good quality. We were looked after by Patryjca who provided excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel very welcome

K W (KW) Visited for the first time today as we coincided this lunch visit with a Silent pool distillery tour. Ordered the Tiffin meal with chicken. Absolutely delicious. Service was speedy and attentive. The venue was filled with their own frozen meals and merchandise for sale and decorated lots of colours hanging umbrellas and bikes. I would definitely recommend visiting this venue for something different and most importantly, delicious food.

Stuart Applebby Visited here one Saturday evening. They were busy which is a good sign. The staff found me a table, were attentive, they checked whether I wanted my main spicy or not. The curry arrived swiftly and was good, just about hot enough for me. Then I had some homemade coconut ice cream. The decor was nicely designed, the toilets were light and pleasant, the food was good, the staff were respectful, happy to recommend.
