5 /5 Richard Wilson: Friends of ours fancied a tex-mex dinner, and Las Iguanas in Southampton definitely fitted the bill. The bar/restaurant is large and spacious, but one needs to log into the WiFi next door in order to receive a mobile Internet signal. Las Iguanas offers happy hour cocktails, at 2 for £13. We found the Long Island Ice Teas to be very weak, and were pretty certain that these came out of a pre-mixed bottle. However, the Mojitos and the Margueritas kicked more of a punch and made for very decent cocktails. The quality of the food was really good. We had the marinated picanha steak strip fajitas and the meat was really tender and very nicely seasoned. Our friends had the quesadilla and also the chicken salad; both of which they totally enjoyed. Service was reasonably good on the whole, given that the restaurant was really busy. Id definitely eat and drink here again.

5 /5 Vish Thakkar: Always happy visiting here! The staff is always responsive and took great care of us. We ordered their signature burger which was delicious but the Rainbow cod was another level - made me very happy! Will be back .

Despite having a separate gluten-free menu, the staff made my allergies feel like an inconvenience rather than something they’re trained to handle. One male server actually rolled his eyes and made no effort to provide decent service. Another staff member — a woman with long winged eyeliner and black hair — also failed to offer even basic hospitality. Most of the team avoided eye contact entirely and gave off the impression that they didn’t want to deal with customers at all. The atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. Overall, the staff came across as lazy and unprofessional. The restaurant also appeared badly understaffed and undertrained, which honestly makes it surprising that it’s still as popular as it is. The food itself was good and arrived quickly (within about 20 minutes), but unfortunately that doesn’t make up for how poor the service was.

5 /5 Lucy Bailey: As a large group of 10, they were very accommodating. The service was nice, and the staff so cheerful and funny. They are also very good at upselling the deals on the cocktails, so good job on that. Considering we were a large group with a very varied order, the food came out in a decent amount of time. My steak was slightly overcooked, but understandable considering the 12+ dishes ordered. As we all wanted to pay separately, the staff were understanding, and dealt with it very efficiently. This isnt the first time Ive been here, and definitely wont be the last.
