5 /5 Stephen Wells: We had such a lovely visit to this steakhouse for Valentine’s and honestly couldn’t fault the experience.
To start, we ordered the bread board. The ciabatta base was a little hard to cut through with just a dinner knife, but once you got into it, it was deliciously soft and fresh inside — really tasty and a great way to begin the meal.
The halloumi fries were incredible — amazingly crispy on the outside yet soft and juicy in the middle. Properly addictive.
For mains, we both had the 8oz fillet steak with Cajun fries. The steak was an absolute standout — perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of flavour. It was brought out on a hot plate, which we loved as it meant you could cook it a little more to your own liking if you wanted. The Cajun fries were well seasoned and paired brilliantly with the steak.
We shared a Biscoff cheesecake for dessert, which was rich, indulgent and the perfect sweet finish without being overly heavy.
The table was beautifully decorated for Valentine’s with a single rose and a small tea light candle, which made the whole evening feel that bit more special. Service was excellent — any questions we had about the drinks menu and steak sauces were answered clearly and helpfully.
We had no issues at all throughout the evening. With drinks included, we spent just under ÂŁ100, which we felt was great value for the quality of food and overall experience.
We’ll definitely be back. A fantastic meal from start to finish.
