1 /5 Y S: I’ve been a regular customer here for quite a while, and up until recently, everything had always been pleasant. Unfortunately, my last two visits have completely changed my impression of this place.
The first negative experience happened when I called ahead to place an order so it would be ready for pickup. The man who seemed to be in charge spoke to me in a very abrupt and unpleasant tone, then suddenly hung up on me. As someone who had been supporting this business for a long time, I was really disappointed by how I was spoken to, so I decided to take a break from coming here.
After a long time away, I decided to give them another chance today, hoping things had improved, but the service was even worse. When I went to pay, not only were they unhappy that I was paying partly in cash and partly by card, but they also tried to charge me more than the actual total. On top of that, one of them confronted me about a 5p coin, claiming it was fake, even though it was change I’d received from another shop. I even offered to replace the coin by paying the 5p on card, and I was completely ignored.
After these two experiences, I think it’s safe to say I won’t be returning.
