Larry Venter We popped into Ichiban on a Wednesday evening without too much expectation. The reviews are all about right - good food, decent service and as the pace filled up the atmosphere was good too. They were very accommodating of gluten free requests too. No complaints here - I’d visit again.

Mariia Vysochanska A very decent restaurant with authentic Turkish cuisine. There’s a wide selection of meat dishes and a variety of wines. The restaurant is cozy, spotless, and not too large, which creates a warm, pleasant atmosphere. The tables by the window offer a lovely view of the street. It’s located right in the heart of the town, next to the Gelato ice cream café and surrounded by various coffee shops and stores. The owner is very friendly and talkative. The baklava is simply wonderful, not too sweet, with plenty of nuts, truly authentic.

Ushi Nightingale Spectacular food and service. Booked to return before we even left! Portions were generous - the mozzarella sticks were huge! Really recommend the noodles and the delicious crispy chips. The staff were so friendly. We cant wait to return and try more dishes! Edit: we returned for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Huge portions, bottomless sides and absolutely amazing food and service. Second edit: visiting again for the special set menu deal running until middle of Feb and was blown away by the great value this represents for a 3 course meal. The beignets were out of this world. Huge thanks to Thomas who anticipated our every need and provided impeccable service.

Every visit, they have been attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring, without ever feeling intrusive. Every dish is beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and bursting with flavor. The consistency is what truly stands out: this is my fourth time coming back, and each visit has been just as impressive as the last. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers at such a high level every single time. This is the kind of place you recommend without hesitation and keep returning to again and again. Metehra Stopped here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. I was welcomed nicely at the door and seated promptly. Food is well presented and delicious. I highly recommend. The restaurant is cozy, charming and beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms. They also had really nice tunes playing in the background.
