5 /5 Lucy Johnson: About a week and a half ago my partner and I had the most amazing dinner here. He brought me here as a surprise for my birthday and the whole evening was perfect. We came at 17:30 and the hostess immediately asked if we were going to a show, which we were, and assured us we would be out on time, which we also were. She was really lovely and welcoming.
I was a little daunted by the wine list at first, as I dont know that much about wine, but the gentleman who served us guided me through it really thoroughly and made excellent recommendations based on what I was eating. I had two different glasses and they were both fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient!
The food was absolutely stunning. I started with the sea bream tartare which was one of the best things Ive ever eaten. The fish was so delicate, and the kohlrabi delightfully crunchy. It was so well balanced, I would come back just for that alone. I followed it with the guinea fowl dish which was delicious and homely and comforting, and which I was so excited to eat that I forgot to take a picture. Lastly I finished with the Paris brest which was summery and creamy and fresh.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff are amazing, the atmosphere is cosy, and the food and wine are divine.
