1 /5 Stefan Ingolfsson: Ordered the spicy chicken wings and they were raw, the waiter told us it was because the chef was new. We also ordered the prawn wontons but they never came. Disappointed with a possible salmonella poisoning. Avoid this place.

5 /5 Alfie Whitten: I came in today to get a Matcha latte, and although I felt that the drinks (i got a matcha latte and a beer) were rather on the expensive side, it was no matter as I was met with lovely service from the young woman (purple hair) working. The drinks were made quickly and well. She was well mannered and a great server, very friendly and a brilliant rep for the place.

3 /5 Bonsai Ninja: Ordered food from Mamalan on Deliveroo. Firstly the delivery took a very long time. Whilst checking the tracking system there were a number of times drivers were assigned but yet when they arrived the food was not ready, leading to release of drivers. It was frustrating to get food more than an hour after the order on this occasion. The food was ok but not exceptional. Cucumber felt lack of seasoning. The dumplings were quite dry. The noodle was fine but again the broth was quite weak in seasoning and the beef did not feel very good quality.

4 /5 Lily Gill: I had been putting off going here as the reviews were not great. But we had an enjoyable and especially cheap meal here. My husband absolutely loved his spare ribs, they were fall off the bone tender. My veggie noodle soup had fresh noodles, tasty mushroom and fantastic tofu, however flavorful the soup was too oily for me. It was a great portion size and left me full. I cant complain about getting a main meal for under £10 as well!

3 /5 Karel Kumar: Good, not great. I used to visit MamaLan back in the day but this was my first time coming back ina few years. I had always loved it and rated it highly. But I think now its not as good as it used to be, service was a bit slow, considering we were the only people in the restaurant (but the staff were really friendly). And my partners food was cold, her vegan soup lukewarm, once they heated it back up it was all good but overall the menu is slipping a bit on quality and flavour, still tasty but not as incredible as it used to be.
