5 /5 Dimitris Giannoulis: Matiz is a lovely restaurant serving Latin American food (Ecuador). Its a nice option if in Greenwich as I often find restaurants there a bit more tourist oriented and of lower quality. Mating differs in that regard! All the dishes we tried were great, both meat and fish options. Their sangria was very good. The only thing I would have changed was the portion size of the tapas.

5 /5 Macky Mann: Delicious food at a reasonable price. The restaurant is located right in the heart of Greenwich Village, which adds to its charm. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow. Overall, a lovely place worth visiting

5 /5 Jennifer Smith: Delicious food with good serving sizes. Food came quickly as well. Also cheap prices for a large glass of wine! I had the Ecuadorean ceviche which was SO fresh and tasty, a baked goat cheese and spinach empanada, and the goat cheese salad. The first two would have been enough: large enough for someone who is only somewhat hungry. Service was decent as well. Would definitely return! Excellent value for money.

5 /5 Duy: Went to Matiz on The Hill for my birthday and loved it! The food was amazing, the place is beautiful and well decorated. Service was good, but it was a bit loud—still a great spot overall.
