5 /5 Jeff Fishkin: I recently had a mixed kebab at a really friendly local spot and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. The meat was cooked perfectly and the spice level was absolutely on point—flavourful without being overwhelming. Every bite had a great balance of seasoning, and you could tell it was made fresh. The portion size was also really generous, which made the meal even better. It was filling without feeling too heavy, and everything on the plate complemented the kebab nicely. I went there with my family and the atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were welcoming and friendly, which made us feel comfortable right away. Overall it was a great meal in a warm, relaxed place, and I’d definitely go back again.

4 /5 Arden: I have been to Mickey’s many times over the last 5 years and it’s a great place for a kebab takeaway - specifically the shish wraps. The chips are really good too. It is a bit pricey and I have found that sometimes the size difference between regular and large chips is not noticeable.

5 /5 S Rahman: I came here the other day for a quick lunch as I was working locally. The place looks like there isn’t much seating from the outside, but they have more seating at the back. The place was kept clean, great customer service skills and amazing food. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area again!

2 /5 Yabu Lurie: This has been my local kebab shop for over 5 years and I would have proudly recommended it until a few months ago when the business changes hands. Whilst the menu looks the same, all the staff (apart from the nice lady who takes the orders) have changed and so has the entire "vibe" of the place. Apart from implementing a 20% price hike on many menu items, the quality has really dropped. When asked about this - they said it was in line with the prices in Green Lanes. Fine if their quality was in line as well but it isnt. Everything from the garlic sauces to the mix of meats used in the platters indicates to me that there are trying to optimise their margins. Theres also a kind of arms crossed unfriendliness that really doesnt feel very welcoming. I hope this will be read by the new ownership and reflected on and that if/when I return (it wont be for a while) - they will have made efforts to improve. After all we all have choices about where we spend our hard earned money. Ive always been an advocate for supporting your local businesses (I avoid Deliveroo to ensure my money stays local) and so I will simply divert to another local takeaway that hasnt taken such a cynical view of its customers. I write this in the hope if influencing a change of heart. All the best
