5 /5 Isobel Coley: This place is amazing. The vegan food we had was top tier. Very similar to Tofu Vegan (which we like to support as a fully vegan place, but this is way closer). The prices are similar but the portions seem bigger. We had the black fungus, spicy wantons, duck, kung po chicken and cumin lamb. Chicken and lamb were standouts, but everything delicious. Disabled friendly with enough room for wheelchair access and a disabled toilet on the same level. The service was great and attentive. Music not too loud and ambient noise good (although it wasn’t packed when we were there). Will be back!

5 /5 Matthew Oon: Our 3rd time coming! We came for LNY, and the food was great once again, even with how busy it was, the service was still excellent. Recommend the braised beef brisket in the clay pot!

3 /5 TCU: Cute little restaurant to dine in in Balham. Unfortunately, the experience started on a disappointing note. I arrived with a friend for a confirmed booking, only to be told it had been cancelled, with no prior communication from the restaurant. The manager was not available, leaving the waiting staff to manage the situation. We were told there had been a recent change in management. We were eventually seated. The food was average overall. The starters were enjoyable, but the noodle main had sections at the bottom that were undercooked. The 3-star rating is largely due to Debbie and Manj, who did everything they could to resolve the situation and improve the experience. Without their efforts, this would have been a 0-star review. UPDATE (Dec 2025): This review reflects my genuine visit in May 2025. I have confirmation of my visit and can provide receipts if required. A recent image was re-uploaded only after a Google prompt regarding a missing upload. The substance of this review has not otherwise changed. It remains an honest account of my experience on the day.
