Miss Millie’s – Chicken and Shakes - (Near , london)

4 /5 Kev Conroy: Found the menu board a bit confusing but ended up with exactly what I wanted - 4 bits of chicken and some fries. Crinkle cut chips! Wow, is it the 70’s? Tasty tho. Chicken - people say it’s a retro ‘what kfc used to be like’ and I’d agree, but with one big difference - the chicken was delish. Perfectly cooked, moist and all far too edible. Coating was just perfect too. Prob could have done with some gravy or hot sauce, but I assume those are options somewhere on the menu. I’d say the temp is served at an ‘eat immediately’ temperature so not sure it would be at its best after ten minutes on a delivery bike.. I’d go for eat in. The dining room seemed clean and spacious, but I bet it gets busy. I’d come here the next time I have the fried chicken urge, and I’d choose it over kfc.

4 /5 Barnett Harrison: Chucked was tasty and the mexican fries were good. Food was a little cold though feel like some of it had been sat waiting. Ordered in and it was very quiet so not sure why. Probably go again though.

3 /5 Lap Kun Ho: Wandering around Southampton Town centre and decided to try out this place situated on above bar street. Stepped into a dark restaurant that was quiet for a weekday lunch, there were a few more customers as I sat eating here. The staff was lovely and the food was piping hot. I went with the current specials, the hot shot meal that included a cluckn hot burger, fries, drink, side (I went with their gravy) and 2wings of fire. Now immediately I had to compare with the well known competitor just down the road. Pricing is comparable. Bonus for hot food and service with a smile. The breading was crisp and crunchy, flavour wasnt as strong with the southern spicing and it was a little salty on my palate. The chicken portions were much more generous decent amount. The spice in the burger mainly came from some sliced chili which was a nice touch, the wings were good. The gravy had great texture but flavour was a little light and was over powered by the others. I enjoyed it and I would try again some other items on their menu.

1 /5 Riyadh Rahman: Chicken hair in the chicken wings!! Absolutely disgusting!! me and my wife had hair in our mouths and we was sick!!! When we complained to the manager, I was told they can only replace the item for the same value of the wings. This is appalling response. Not even a sorry! I would recommend everyone to save there money and go somewhere else.
