Laura Faint Thank you to everyone at the Stag that helped plan everything for our fake wedding. It was fabulous from start to finish and a big part of that was the great staff. Imogen Bramhill Flavourful ramen broth, soft but not overcooked egg noodles. Though the fried tofu was no longer crispy in the soup, it absorbed the flavours and juices making it very tasty. All the toppings (bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, pickled ginger) mixed and added to the dish, and the tonkotsu ramen had pork juices in the soup, with the chashu pork slices melting in your mouth. Affordable price so good value for money, pretty fast service and plenty of seating considering the small space (looks more like a takeaway than a restaurant), will definitely be returning here!

Alyce King Incredible Sunday Lunch ! You MUST book for Sunday lunch (as walk in spaces rare). Two sittings, arrivals 12-1230pm and 2-230pm I believe. Great use of space for tables. Wheelchair accessible in one part of the restaurant (near back door), but when busy cant get to the toilet. Staff couldnt have been any more welcoming and helpful. Great atmosphere, background music level just right (sat under a speaker). The main issue is parking; the car park is not big enough if the pub is full - eg at Sunday lunchtime. Especially difficult if you are a blue badge holder and need to park close by. Low level lighting so low vision may struggle on certain tables.

Patrick N. I had a craving for sandwiches that this place satisfied. Nice bread, tasty fillings, decent prices. I enjoyed my Parma ham sandwich—can’t go wrong with that combination of ingredients. My husband enjoyed his Breakfast Club, although it was quite hefty even for him. Service was very attentive and friendly.
