Jam A Palmito is definitely one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Brighton. We ordered 5 dishes and every single one is just delicious! We had grilled king prawns, beef tacos, charred cabbage, mussels, empanadas, everything was delightful! We also made space for dessert and it did not disappoint. Service was amazing and very friendly staff. Will come back for sure!

Tony Fox I ordered three portions of cod and chips this evening, and it was the best takeaway fish and chips I’ve had in years. The fish was beautiful and the chips were amazing. Unfortunately I am very rarely in Finchley, but next time I’m here I will definitely get my fish and chips from the Mermaid.

Rezan Fuat Been coming here for years, always a lovely experience. Clinton has been our waiter on many occasions and he is honestly amazing. He is very sweet and friendly and throughout the meal he checked in with us to make sure we were happy with the food and that everything was just right. Keeley Wood After leaving a review here a few months ago we bit the bullet and decided to try again. The owner was amazing remembering my husband and was so apologetic about our last experience. He took the review very seriously and made sure that our order was delivered promptly. The food was delicious and to the standard we had always experienced in the past . It’s so refreshing to have a review taken seriously and in the context that it is meant, positive criticism turned into positive reaction and I can now say we will definitely be ordering from here again. A big thank you to the owner who clearly cares about his customers and the quality of the food . We really appreciated the understanding of our last experience. Tiny Lovely welcoming restaurant with the most AMAZING FOOD. We will definitely be back when we’re in Hastings again. The owners are just the most lovely people. The Beef Stifado was the best I’ve had. We had calamari and liver to start which were both amazing including the home made bread. Thankyou we had a lovely time.
