1 /5 Vikram S: We visited on Christmas Eve. The restaurant has plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and we had made a reservation almost two months in advance, expecting a peaceful table. Instead, we were seated tightly next to another occupied table even though there was visible space elsewhere. I understand Christmas Eve can be busy, but it’s not pleasant to overhear other people’s conversations when space is available.
The menu looks promising at first glance, but unfortunately that’s where things stalled.
We ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower and Masala Puri (both house specials) as appetizers, followed by the Jackfruit Biryani Medley. The Masala Puri was okay, but the Buffalo Cauliflower was quite subpar — it felt like deep-fried cauliflower with minimal or no batter and buffalo sauce poured on top. The biryani arrived only a few minutes after the starters and was already cold, making it hard to pick up any real flavor.
We then tried a masala dosa, hoping to recover the meal, but that didn’t help either. The sambhar didn’t resemble sambhar, and the coconut chutney was mostly just coconut with little depth.
At that point, there wasn’t much value in going back and forth. The only real highlight of the evening was the Prosecco.
The staff did try their best, but there seemed to be a clear mismatch between what customers expect and what was delivered. I understand the restaurant may have been overwhelmed due to Christmas Eve, but food quality really shouldn’t suffer because of that.
Unfortunately, this experience left us with no reason to rate it higher.
