2 /5 Sijo K Jose: The Food is Consistent, but the Logistics are a Struggle
If you are looking for that familiar PERi-PERi fix in Guildford, this location is right in the heart of the action. However, your experience will largely depend on how much patience you have for the "Nando’s hustle."
Location & Accessibility
The restaurant is situated in an extremely easy-access spot for pedestrians and shoppers, right off the main high street. However, if you are driving, be warned: parking is a nightmare. There is no parking available directly at the restaurant, and finding a spot nearby is difficult and often expensive. It is much better suited for those already on foot in the town center.
The Wait Times
Brace yourself for a crowd. This branch is constantly busy, and you should almost always expect a wait for a table. On peak days, the queue often spills out the door, meaning you might find yourself waiting outside on the pavement before you even get to the "official" indoor waiting area.
Service & Atmosphere
While the food is served at the standard Nando’s quality we all know, the service can be a bit hit-or-miss. Because the restaurant is perpetually packed, the staff often seem stressed and are generally not the friendliest. Dont expect much in the way of warm welcomes or attentive check-ins; it’s very much a "get them in, get them out" environment.
