1 /5 MM: We were excited to try this newly opened branch but unfortunately we had a very bad experience if not for the guy who welcomed us( I forgot to ask his name) I would give this a 0 star.This happened today April 17, 2026 between 5:30pm-6:30pm Everything was going okay, until one of the servers threw our left over chicken and chips instead of putting it in a takeaway box, my husband told her that it is for takeaway and I was guessing either SHE DID NOT HEAR or SHE DID NOT UNDERSTAND so I guess she just told the manager that my husband did not say anything about take away so she can cover herself for throwing the food away.Then here comes the LADY MANAGER which I forgot to ask her name, she came to me and SHE UNPOLITELY ASKED “what was on the plate, I told her chicken and chipS and she then told what chicken ( she meant what part ) so I told her what was on the plate then SHE started defending the server saying that my husband did not say anything about take away so they will not replace the thrown chicken and chips , I told her I will not leave until they replaced it because I kept it for my mother in law and I paid for it, I am in disbelief of her response, SHE TOLD ME THAT I CAN STAY THERE AS LONG AS I WANT. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THAT?! I wanted to prove to her that we are not lying so I told her that go look at the cctv and she refused to do that as she was telling me they are currently BUSY and will take time for her to check the cctv. During my interaction, the manager came across as rude and uninterested in resolving the issue I raised. Instead of listening or offering assistance, her tone and attitude made the situation unnecessarily uncomfortable. I asked her again to just check the CCTV because I really wanted to prove ourselves that we are not lying but she insisted that she will not do it, she told me it will take her 1-2 hours before she can check the CCTV. SHE ASKED ME TO COME BACK SOME OTHER TIME IF I WANT TO CHECK THE CCTV NO APOLOGIES FOR THE THROWN FOOD WAS RECEIVED FROM BOTH OF THEM. I am pregnant so I really don’t want to get stress more so I just left! We’ve been going to NANDO’s because we really love it, but this incident changed it, this is the first time we had problem with Nandos and the worst experience we had. I hope this business takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service, especially at the management level. A more respectful and professional approach would make a significant difference.
