1 /5 Iwona Kalinowska: I always order curries from New Taz as I thought I can rely on the same taste delivered. There are always vegetarian curries I order and I am usually happy. This time, I thought I will order paneer in curry but fancied tikka masala spice. What a disappointment- you can see this curry in a photo, have nothing to do with the tikka spice other then the colour and even so its too rich and not broken with yoghurt or cream but the taste was absolutely not resembling the tikka spices. In addition to this it was so sweet that you could mix this with dessert- it was as sweet as jalebi sweet, and not edible. I understand that some curries are sweeter than other like korma or Thai curries and there is usually sugar added but this should not taste like a desert. I might not have started this review but another disappointment came when i tried to put this right and called to complain. I was told that tikka masala should be sweet- definitely do not agree with it to this extent. I eat a lot of curries and cook them from scratch as well. Trust me you would never be able to eat this tikka masala if you swap paneer with either chicken or beef so please don’t tell me that paneer tikka masala should taste like a very sweet dessert, its literally jalebi. Very poor food quality provided based on paneer tikka masala and a very bad service from someone working on 8th Feb @17.25. Does it look like a badly made ketchup? So imagine it twice as sweet than ketchup.

1 /5 Julie Norton: I order from these guys often and have never had issue until now. I opened up the bombay potatos and when I say they stunk, its an understatement. I actually thought they had sent some kind of meat dish. The potatoes were so gone off they were black which put me off my entire order. Sadly I no longer trust that their food is fresh and will not be ordering again.

5 /5 Alex Kali: I just visited New Taz in Newham and honestly, the staff here are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. The way they look after you is next level—constant smiles, amazing positive energy, and they pay so much attention to every detail. You can tell it’s genuine, too; that kind of hospitality is something you just can’t fake. I had a waffle and they were nice enough to make it half-and-half with different flavors for me. Throughout the meal, they kept checking in to make sure we were 100% satisfied with everything. It’s rare to find a place that cares this much about their customers. Even if you’re just looking for a takeaway, I’d advise people to go in and collect the food yourself just to feel the positive atmosphere and great service. It really makes the whole experience better. Definitely worth a visit!

1 /5 Mifta Onik: I ordered a takeaway today from this restaurant. The lamb curry, chicken korma was so blend that’s unbelievable. Doesn’t taste like anything to be honest. Successfully wasted £30. Wouldn’t be ordering from there anymore. First and last time and wouldn’t recommend to anyone as well.
