Came here for my brother in-laws 35th birthday
Firstly the decor is great, and the staff super friendly.
Onto the food......fantastic.
Ordered 6 Tapas
Patas Bravas: crispy and just as youd want.
Champinones Al Horno: these mushrooms were an utter standout. Stunning, moreish and oh so delicious
Berenjenas Grantinadas; the aubergines were non greasy, well cooked and the tomato sauce, rich and full flavored.
Croquetas de Bacalao: not too fishy, and with a lovely fluffy texture.
Costillas de Cerdo: The star for me. This isnt a feeble portion of small ribs. These were big, exceptionally well cooked, and seasoned ribs. No fat and a stunning portion!!
Special of the day Pig cheeks: a close second for me behind the ribs! Masterfully cooked, and melt in mouth....please add to the menu!!
All presented beautifully as well
So all in all a fantastic meal.
If i had one gripe its that the Ay Caramba house beer was bland and the beer selection is limited.
If you like Tapas, ditch the chains and visit here. Its worth it!!
