5 /5 Judyarr W: This was my first time trying Moroccan cuisine, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish.
As soon as we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful interior — very elegant, unique, and full of Moroccan character. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially for first-timers, and they kindly recommended authentic Moroccan dishes for us to try.
We started with the Chicken Pastilla, which was absolutely delicious — flaky pastry filled with spiced chicken, cinnamon, and crushed almonds, perfectly balancing sweet and savoury flavours. The Zaalouk was fresh and comforting, with grilled aubergine, tomatoes, and olive oil.
For mains, the Lamb Tagine was outstanding. The lamb shoulder was slow-cooked until incredibly tender, topped with prunes, almonds, and sesame seeds — rich, fragrant, and full of flavour. The Chicken Couscous with vegetables was also excellent and very comforting.
Desserts were a treat, especially the Baklawa and the Moroccan sweet selection, best enjoyed with the traditional Moroccan tea, which is a must-order. We also enjoyed the banana milkshake and strawberry mojito.
Overall, an amazing introduction to Moroccan food. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try something new in a beautiful setting.
