4 /5 Prin C: Visited here for the first time, ordering jerk chicken with rice and peas. The waitress was friendly and the service was good. The venue was quite cold. It had a Jamaican yard aesthetic which was quite interesting but fell short in heating. The portion size for the food was good however the taste lacked for me. The rice and peas were okay but needed more salt and the chicken needed more of that jerk spice that makes jerk chicken a Caribbean staple. The accompanying gravy was ok but I feel it didn’t really add to the dish.

1 /5 Golden Hippie: First time trying this place since it opened, for the price and the palette its not worth it at all!!!!! Even though they tried to add outdoor seating it adds nothing. My Mac & cheese looks like pasta with burger cheese on top. It tastes nasty and had like a cinnamon or Chinese 5 spice taste to it, just awful. The large oxtail and rice came in the smallest container fit for a child with 5 pieces of skinny meat on it majority bone looking like Sebastian from the little mermaid had scraped it from the ocean for us. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Please work on your portion sizes and food quality. Thanks

5 /5 Halal Food Therapy: Tried Authentic Carribean Food for the first time. @ochi_cuisine is a Halal Carribean spot in Leyton with a nice casual setup and a really friendly team. If course Jerk Chicken is what drove me to try it as I wanted to see how the real deal is and its actually a lot different Ive tried to others. For one thing the effort here is impressive. Its marinated for a long time and slow cooked in their special grill. Result is a soft and smokey rich chick. For around £10 not bad at all. They also do a pepper steak for around the same price which I thought was nice value too. Very reasonable portion and filling plus you get a nice dip for it too. Their seafood was goood. The snapper although has bones so you gotta be careful, was nicely done. Quite a delicate flavour and enjoyable throughout. King prawns were probably my favorite. Lovely broth/soup and went down really well. Overall if youre wanting to try authentic carribean food, finally a halal spot to check out! I liked how most dishes were £10-£12 which is good value!

5 /5 Owen W Parnell: Got dinner delivered from here tonight and it was really good. Everything we had from the curry goat to the man n cheese was seasoned properly, really tasty. Looking forward to eating their food again but going to go eat in next time for sure.

5 /5 Mark Whitehorne: Oh my days, let me tell you, this place is such a refreshing take on the whole Caribbean eatery experience. The staff was welcoming and helpful, we got to choose our tables, and we opted for one on the upper level. The food was amazing but the presentation and the service are what did it for me, along with the atmosphere. It really did give that rustic Jamaican feel and I would definitely recommend this spot as a place to visit.
