5 /5 George G: This is a lovely Japanese restaurant. The décor is great and creates a really nice atmosphere, with plenty of space and comfortable seating for dining in. It’s a large place with a generous layout. As you enter, on the left-hand side there’s a really cool lounge and waiting area where books are provided, giving off a cosy and comfortable vibe.
They have a fantastic bar area serving Japanese beers, whisky, and both hot and cold sake. They also offer traditional cocktails and spirits — gin, rum, vodka, etc. When I visited, I was seated straight away.
I ordered the Kakuni Ramen, which was absolutely delicious. The pork was so tender it literally melted in my mouth. I had it alongside a hot sake flask, which was presented beautifully and tasted great.
The toilets are opposite the entrance and are quite trendy, with some cool art pieces inside. The restaurant is located directly opposite Wood Green Tube Station, so it’s easy to get to and easy to find.
I would highly recommend this place for families, large groups, or anyone visiting solo.
