Ian Guest Stumbled across this pub by accident and very glad I did. Really cool old building, staff were really friendly and pizza was great. Loved the pictures on the wall explaining the history of the pub and details of some of the occupants of the graveyard next door. Good evening music too.

The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, with that rich smoky taste you can only get from a woodfired grill. The portion size was generous, and the fries were crisp and perfectly seasoned a complete, satisfying meal that felt like a real treat without breaking the bank. The staff were another highlight of my visit. They were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, creating a really warm and relaxed atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I felt appreciated as a customer, and their positive energy really added to the overall experience. It’s always refreshing to see staff who clearly enjoy what they do and take pride in making every guest feel comfortable. Of course, I couldn’t leave without trying their woodfired pizza, and it was absolutely delicious.
