4 /5 Nicola: We recently visited PSV Cuisine, which is tucked away upstairs above a pub – definitely one of those hidden gems you might miss if you didn’t know it was there. The atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious, perfect for a casual meal.
The food was a really nice mix of Thai, Vietnamese, and Laotian dishes, and everything we tried was packed with authentic flavours. You could really taste the freshness of the ingredients, and the dishes had that proper homemade feel. Some plates were a little on the oily side, but it actually added to the richness and didn’t take away from how delicious everything was. It all tasted really genuine, like the kind of food youd get if you were travelling through Southeast Asia.
Portion sizes were generous, and the prices felt fair for the quality and amount of food you get. It’s also got a slightly tucked-away vibe being above the pub, which makes it feel a bit special without being too formal or fancy.
Overall, if youre looking for hearty, authentic Thai, Vietnamese, and Laos cuisine in a chill and friendly setting, PSV Cuisine is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!
